Founded in 1521, Spiegelau is one of the oldest and most famous European manufacturers of fine crystal, located in the small town of Spiegelau in the heart of the Bavarian Forest. Being one of the most picturesque parts of Germany, this area has in recent times become as much a centre of tourism as well as a traditional center of glassmaking.

• Glass Care: Glasses should always be washed carefully, preferably by hand.
• Because of our Platinum Glass all Spiegelau glasses are 100% dishwasher safe, but they are best cared for by avoiding harsh detergents and choosing a cool, short dishwashing cycle. To avoid detergent residue, rinse glasses thoroughly in clean water.
• When drying the bowl of the glass, avoid holding the glass by its stem or base as this can, in extreme cases, cause the stem to break at its narrowest point.
